Default Supercharged S2000

Anyone mind filling me in to what driving a s2000 with sc on it should feel and drive like. Also will anyone let me know what perf numbers they have achieved ie 1/4, top speed etc. Also what they paid for installation might be helpful as well

Fast.... that's the only way to describe it.

I know a guy here in Dallas that has his SC'd and he said he dropped it into 3rd doing 70mph and was literally at 110mph in 2 sec. His last top speed that I know of was 155mph with 2500rpms left in 6th gear. He doesn't have a problem hangin' with sport bikes either. That's all I know.

Very nice on the street . Not all that much on the track. But then again, drag racing is not exactly its bag .

Yes, but it is so much fun to see the look on the sport bike rider's face at 150mph going down the highway when they run out of top end or nerve and you sail by.

Well though i love my s2000 anyone with a pulse on a sportbike should take my s2000 or most any other car. It is impossible to keep up with modern sportbikes. I owned a 900 rr honda and with my mods exhaust/downdraft carbs, ign advance I was running low 10's. Hell even stock 1/4 was 10.3. I topped it out over 168. No way is any car going to catch it. Even top end would be tough. bikes will get there so much quicker then say a z06 vette that the vette would need 3-4 miles of open road to finally overtake the bike on a race from start to top speed

preach on brotha.

IT's amazing that some people have no clue how fast a sportbike really is.

Even from a roll, a supercharged S2000 or even a Viper stands no chance.

The only cars that can beat or hang with sportbikes are heavily worked muscle cars and the 1000 hp powered supras.

No way no how. My bike does 160 and my buddies stock GSXR750 does 180. The only bike that your going to sail by is either old or not a sportbike.

Just put the SC on this week. My initial response is that the car really takes off when the tach gets to 5k. It goes from 6 to 9 so fast in 1st and 2nd gear that one problem is not over reving. It seems to be just fine in traffic. Does not feel radical at all. It's a bit squirrelly in a hard shift from 1st to 2nd - no loss of control but the rear shifts to the right side a bit. Haven't done the 1/4.

It's not a sports bike. I've owned 900cc bikes and I'm not aware of any car that will stay with a bike like that at any speed, except at the very top end. The S will supposedly approach 175 with SC - I've not been there and never expect to! Chicken is the word that comes to mind
