Default Supra TT vs WRX

So last night cruising on the 15fwy, a black wrx (either an 02 or 03) approaches me. I think nothing of it and hear him popping his BOV next to me multiple times. I give the famous 3 sign and on three honks from 70mph in third we go. I put some decent ground on him in third, then in 4th it just got ridiculous then I shut down. Didnt get a chance to ask his mods as he pulled a flyby and started driving all crazy.

not even a fair race..LOL....those supras are just beasts...at least the TT ones...my dads wrx has the turbo xs stage 4 kit, hes runnin around 400 hp..but its still only a 12 second car....hasnt ran it with race fuel yet though..

Nice race man, but was it kinda like: thats it?

your race sounds like mine against an NA supra, with exhaust and intake...just embaressing for the supra owner...

Nice kill. It sounds like from the story you have a big single turbo!! Either that or you have like a really strong bpu++.

WHat's the difference between a 400 hp supra and a 900 hp supra...

Nothing, they both run 12's

On a serious note, I've always had huge respect for Supras, they're highway monsters. Nice car.

Ill try to answer everyones post in one if I can haha.

revhi--- not sure, havent dyno'd it yet

supercharged-s------ that was kinda it cause he was the one bringing it on, antagonizing me and harassing me, then he got kind of upset and pulled a flyby. I wasnt about to chase him to that high of speeds just for the same thing to happen or to talk to him. I think the reason he tried was he thought I was non turbo. 93-96 supras do not have a turbo emblem and that is what most people look for. Plus I keep the body stock looking, stock everything. My boost gauge is located in the stock clock location, not a pod so he probably looked for that too. My exhaust is even stock.

Myr2---- It is red, no pics yet but when I get some up I will show you, its nothing really to show right now as it is stock and there are some panels that need to be color sanded/polished as single stage gets nasty after a while.

aznxkuku--- I WISH it was single turbo :-) :-) It would have been way worse with a big single. Right now I just have a downpipe(spools way quicker with it and should net 30-40hp), not sure of what he had cause like I said he wasnt in a friendly mood afterwards. I didnt turn my head to see exactly how far he was but he was on my left side and his lights in my leftside mirror were pretty far when I shut down. Plus it wouldnt take a super strong bpu++ to do that to him (assuming he is FAIRLY stock) 9KFEVER's s2k has pulled on those stock for stock fairly easy.

scott2055---- Its true, thats one of the funniest things I heard when I heard it a long time ago. However, that generally got started because BPU supras, and even supras with single kits and big power were going out on inadequate tires and just spinning to death off the line. If you look on the supraforums there are many bpu's in the low 12s and quite a few who have hit mid to high 11's. Apu, there is a long list of 10sec ones and just some RIDICULOUS ones that have hit way faster times.

supra tt is my next car. i need to experience torque, and the s2000 aint doing it for me. now that i think of it, i think the supra is my favorite car under 100k. (yeh id rather have one than an m3 or m5 etc.) i say 100k because then we're in GT2 territory

one thing that gets overlooked because of the power and modification capabilities of the supra is the handling, its not slouch in the handling department by any means.
