A good friend of mine has a T78 powered Supra automatic and it has full A/C and stereo system including amps, speakers, etc. and his car runs 10's at around 140mph even though it tips the scales at about 3,800 lbs.

He can thank the Auto for that one!

Unless youre Ryan Woon or thereabouts, the big single-equiped cars are pretty tough to get down the strip quickly. They trap silly-high, but the ETs suffer due to the IRS and lag.

The only reason I think i MIGHT have a chance, is that he just bought one of those new Cadillac XLR jobbers. Holy crap is that a nice car. You know...the new 2 seat convertible hard top pimpmobile.
