Thumbs up Taking off and running...

Ok.....why is it when ever I'm behind some one whether it be an STi, Evo or today a Mach 1 Rustang.....they always feel the need to take off and not let me catch up to them. Even if there is traffic they will weave in and out to avoid me catching up to them even if I am cruising at normal speed?

Today a Mach 1 Mustang litterally straddled 2 lanes so he could take the lane that opened up first in heavy traffic as I was behind him... hahaha... I don't get it?

Why not slow down and line up?

Can someone explain this attitude.....do they think it means I can't keep up or catch them?

Fear maybe??? I to have seen this happen many time, I would guess maybe they would like to see if you can give chase, and stay with him while he does his crazy quick lane changing driver technique.

I have done this a couple of times, and have had people do it to me. It's a different type of race, instead of just going straight wich is more car dependent than driver, this weaving relies more on skill. Although it's dangerous, it's alot of fun. The best is when some hot-shot jumps in the left lane and floors it, only to get stuck behind some a-hole doing 50, while you jump in the right and get ahead of him, then he tries to pass you and so on.

Yeah, be careful. When you create 50 close calls in a minute, the chance of something going wrong is 50x greater.

::makes sign of the cross:: I know, but when you're young and have testosterone for blood.... it just sorta happens. I'm sure in 20 years i'll look back and be amazed at all the crazy stuff I did, and i'll be yelling at my kids for doing the same.

Send you little punks to prison and let the huge guys in there rape you in the a-holes.
