So i leave school one night and im crusin over to the bar where i always get drunk with my friends and do karaoke. im doin about 55 in the right lane (55mph speed limit) and i hear a loud buzzing noise coming up on me in the left lane. next thing you know i see a scion tc with an exhaust and idk what other mods (anyone know hp on sc?) so this guy was comin at about 65 and he sees me with the top down and gives me one of those head nods like u wanna go? well shit if i didnt just get the car about a month ago...yes i wanna go.

he pulls to a stop in the left lane of a 2 lane high way and starts revving his engine. there is a car stopped in front of me in the right lane so i decide it would be a good idea to pull to the far right (turn only) lane. the light changes and i drop into first around 3k and just pull right away. by the time i shifted into 3rd this guy was a good 4 car lengths behind me and i was just smirking to myself.

so what do u know i come up to the next red light and pull away at a normal pace (i have nothing to prove at this point) and i notice a cop behind me. i shift early keeping the RPMs around 3k and stay 5 below the speed limit. the cop is behind me for a good min and a half and then outta nowhere he puts on his blinker pulls ahead of me and pulls over the tc...

i drive by laughing at the kid thinking to myself about how i just avoided huge fines, not only for street racing, but the temp tags on my car had expired 3 days ago...the only reason i can think of that the cop went after the other kid is the loud buzzing that he heard from the tc's exhaust must have been what he thought he heard from the s2k's VTEC durinig the race.

 

What's vtech? Is that some new aftermarket replacement for VTEC?

scion says it has 160hp and a fairly good amount of torque lol
ive gone against a s2k on the freeway just to mess around knowing i would definitely lose and we were doing about 75, jumped up to about 90 and there was a bend in the rode.. he took off and left me (because i was chicken) and made that turn doing about 105 LOL

but i hope he didnt think he would actually win, and just wanted to see what the s2k could do haha

Running a stock tC is a waste of gas. I ran a supercharged tC when I first bought the S. I pulled him, but he kept up until 4th.
