time for a lesson....
So I run into this high schooler when I'm picking up my fiancee's brother from school who own a newer cavalier Z24. He's not understanding that my Honda is an "S2000" and not an Si, as he keeps repeating. He's talking smack about honda's and asks if I have VTEC. I say yeah and he says well that's a waste. And did I get it for VTEC? blah blah. I said I'll tear up his Z24, and he goes, do you have a turbo? I say no. He says how big is the engine. I tell him 2.0liter 4 banger. He goes.. "are you kidding? i'll destroy you. i have a 2.4 liter car"
Now a friend of his chimes in who has a pontiac sunfire (basically the same thing as the cavalier.... same engine i believe even) And they tell me that there is no stock honda that can beat their cars. Their engines are bigger and VTEC does nothing.
So what are your suggestions when I get to race these guys? (i couldnt then cuz i had to wait for my fiancee's brother) But I really think its time for some schooling. Should I run them full force..?? drop and everything? or should I tease them and let them think they'll win, then bury them?
I would normally not run a cavalier or sunfire.... but these two are just begging me to be walked like dogs.

Even if they have a turbo or supercharger i'd expect around the same performance as the average blown SI running 5-6lbs which is still slower then a stock s2000. go ahead and go all out.. but its likely you won't even have to try.
Get them to get ALLLLL their HS friends out there, as many as possible. Then send those dogs to obedience school. Humiliate them (preferably on camera), but be a good sport about it when it's done. I hate people that act like jerks.
Their cars are completely stock. I had to explain what a turbo looked like just so they could check to make sure my car didnt have one... idiots....
I think i will bring a camera... this should be fun.

LOL, high school kids probably make up at least 90% of the ricers on the road today... I love it when they roll up to you in their 89 civics, and give you that Hard look like they're all tough with their catback exhaust... I show no mercy when it comes to racing these types. Think of it as a form of higher learning...
I say you go all out
