Earthquakes?

I always find the earthquake comments amusing. I've lived here all my life, and have only felt 2 VERY minor tremors, and 2 more that registered 5.2...not even enough to knock things off of shelves in the home.

When I think of all the twisters in the midwest and the hurricanes down south, I think the occasional tremor is not a big deal.

 

Station - this is true...however, you can hide from a twister!

...which brings up another great reason to live in the midwest - basements! (none of my relatives out west have them!)

Ok...let's get back on track here - Wisconsin S2k, has a time and place been set yet?

 

Well, my thought is we can meet up near gurnee mills around 6pm. I think that would work best. But no one has confirmed yet. I also haven't heard from the guy with the 350Z who wanted to race, nor the GTP. what's up with that?

 

Maybe they chickened out!!! It's nice you always put your money where your mouth is! Half the guys calling you out to race probably don't even own a car?!!!! Maybe you should go over to their forums and call them out! Phil

 

I hope it does not happen. Somebody here may report to the cops the location and time. It will get really ugly when 'Street Encounters' is a source for litigation.

uhm, if you didn't happen to read my post, we are talking about meeting up at gurnee. who knows where we'll end up driving off to, since we are all going to make it worth while and do some cruising.

the cops aren't going to show up and go "don't race" or shake their fingers at us.

street encounters is just that.... encounters of the road... not meaning racing. in no way does s2ki support street racing. if we happen to have a few runs, it's not because of s2ki.com in any way, and who's to say it won't be on a track or private road?

and if you think s2ki is source for litigation, be prepared to take on HUNDREDS of forum boards across the internet.

 

Hey im still here , And yup im still up for a get together. I work untill 5:30 all week long is it possible to get this closer to Chicago, otherwise i wont be able to make it until later

 

Hmmm... well, could you make it at a later time? gurnee is already about an hour+ away from me.

 

i allready replied to the other post but i'm game to meet up on monday to mess around. I don't no if i really want to race from a stop because its a little to cold out but definitally from a roll or moving but we can play around no matter what any ways just to see what happends.
