first off i would like to thank "ace039" for letting me drive his s2000. it was a really neat car. tons of fun! i was impressed with everything but the torque. there simply is none!!!!. i raced him in a tipronic s4 stock! and i beat him easy. he launched at 8g 2 times. the s4 pulled real hard at 60 or 70mph i don't thing even the vtec could keep up with the twin turbos once they are spooling. maybe a 9g launch and a few power shifts could keep up with me till 60 then its over

So you are saying that you beat a s2000 from a stoplight in your automatic S4?

 

No wonder why you beat him. I'm surprised he was still concious after the "8g" launch. If the S2000 can pull an "8g" launch, there is no way your car beat it.

I don't think a tiptronic S4 has a chance against an S2K. A well launched S2K would probably edge out a manual S4 but it would be MUCH closer. Isn't there almost a 1 second 0-60 difference between the manual and tiptronic S4??

 

Yup. The S2000 will walk away from a Tip S4 just like SilverSurfer mentioned when he put himself up against an S2000 on the road in his automatic S4.

Even with a chipped Tip you're not going to see anything like what this guy supposedly ran.
