for a looong time the smack has been flying between me and jimbo, about who was faster. me (known fast locally) or him, MRs with boost.
well, tonite was the nite, i called him and said lets settle this. well prior i had expected to race him on 5 psi and figured and easy win. well, he shows up tonite, tuned and on 10-12 psi, depending on setting. by all knowledge hes 275 to 300 flywheel with tonites setup, and weighs a scant 2200 lbs. so when he clued me in i went...
but i never back down, and so it was on.
well, we went for a drive to let the cars warm up. once all was good, we punched from 45 mph, with me in 2nd, him in 3rd. (his gears are short). it was dead even for about 50 feet,,LOL, then his hp and weight were apparent, he pulled away pretty hard. from 45-110, he put 2-3 cars. i was again,, like,,
but i know my car, and i said, lets dig..
well, this turns out to my advantage because of my setup, and i won the dig by 5+ cars. (this was told to me by the modded hatch that was pacing for verification, hackmac87 was passenger). so we will see jimbos side of the story.
so we agreed, he is faster, while im quicker. in other words, he has better power to weight ratio. but in an instance like this, homies shake hands and claim their territory, the dig is mine, while the roll is his.
either way, awesome race, and good to squash the major smack talk that has exchanged since october. anyways, Gnite. jimbo..

thanks for finally overcoming the fear... 
the roll actually caught me by surprise, in 3rd i was at 4k and once boost came on there was no chance for the magical s2k. i let off at 110 (the end of my 4th) when i couldnt see dave on my right, or the hatch on my left, in either of my mirrors.
from the dig, my open diff shows its ugly head. that and i dont make it practice to launch my car on the street, so im not really used to that. the ground was cold, and my intercooler was heat soaked, my tire was spinning all the way through 3rd...
but finally, we can agree, my car is faster... and dave lost. hehe
