Default The Track, last night.

Went to the track last night, in VA, and it was very hot so don't bash me that bad. OK enough excuses. There wasn't many people there so I got a lot of runs in. First up my Boss, at work, and his 94 5.0. modded. O man this guy talked so much crap for the last 6 months about how fast his Mustang would run. 1st run he jumped ahead but ground second..I had a bad reaction..I won with a 14.8 and him a 15.1 Second run same with a 15.6 for him and a 14.6 for me. 3rd run he got me I spun way to much and got a 15.2...yeah that bad.
Up next a TT Supra...I pull up next to him and ask how much HP he has, 370 he said (to the crank). I thought, well this won't take long for him to spank me.. I take off almost perfect reaction with a .572 a little to much spin though. I take it all the way to the top of third and he was still behind I was going nuts well shift into fourth to finish it up and he passed me like I was still....I ended getting 14.5 to his 14.0 He yells over nice reaction, I got worried for a minute. It was weird I got a tad bit faster in the 1/8, turbo spool up maybe?
That's about all that's worth telling...the 10.3 drag car that killed me wasn't that good of a race.

Supras a pretty hard to nail the launch. If I got a so-so launch I didn't really start to pull until the 1/8 like you said.

O on another note...there was one other S2000 there silver with a few things done to it and was running a best of 14.7 so I didn't feel to bad.

Those supras pull late and hard as a mother. I figure with a blower or a turbo on an S, as well a 4.44 gears, you should put enough room on a mildly modded Supra by the time he pulls hard so that you can beat them, or at least make it a real close race. I want F/I and then a rematch with that Supra who keeps spanking me! By the way, i ran that 500 horse supra again... Same as last time, me wnning till 65 ph, then psst, goodbye supra. But this time he stopped pulling at the top of 4th and we stayed the same length apart(30 car lengths).

That Supra doesn't sound like it is that heavily modded at all. Unless it has stickies in rear and skinnies up front, it is a bitch to launch the Supra.

ya 370rwhp is even pretty crappy for a Supra. They can easily hit 400 with just BPU mods.
