Default turbo GST eclipse spyder

This was a story I had from last week, but forgot to post.

I was on my way to meet up with the wednesday crew, and was on bluemound road, which is quite busy during that time of day. I was in the middle lane, just rolling along with traffic, not speeding, not trying to pass people, just driving.

A purple eclipse GST spyder (turbo) pulls out and eventually gets near me. He is in the left lane (this lane is moving faster) and he eventually goes by. He had a VERY cute lookin girl in the passenger seat. She was blonde, blue eyes, cute face, probably 19, 20 years old. I kinda gave her a smile, and then she kept looking back at my car.

I don't know if she said something about liking my car, or that I smiled at her, or whatever took place, but the guy pulled in front of me, and then started speeding up and slowing down.

He'd slow down to let about 50 feet get between him and the car in front of him, then he'd hammer it, and race himself to the car in front of him. He did this about 6 times.

---side tangent time:
Now. Can someone explain to me what the point of this is? I mean when you race yourself, how do you determine who wins? Either way, the winner in that race is probably a loser anyways. I've NEVER understood the fascination some people/ricers have with this speed up slow down thing. And then to "race" a car behind you for 50 feet to the car in front of you. Or "race" a car next to you for 50 feet, again to the car in front of you. Why do people do this? I'm hoping eventually I'll be able to talk to one of these "traffic ricers" as I've started to call them, if only to show them that with the right amount of force my foot will lodge itself in their ass. Do they think they have proven something by doing this? Do they think they "scare" the other driver away from a race by showing the power of their car for almost a full second? I will never understand, but I'm willing to bet there's a good chance my shoe will come out with vinyl stickers and a big wing on the back.
</tangent>

Where was I... Oh yeah. So anyways, eventually I had to move over to the right lane. When he'd speed up I go to move up to get a gap in the right lane, but then he'd slow down and prevent me from making the gap. So now I was getting pissed.

I slowed way down to let some cars go by on the right so there was enough room to not only move over, but accelerate and put this guy in a prime position to view my tail lights.

He slowed way down with me, about 35mph, and as soon as I downshifted to 2nd, he hammered it to take off. I move over, pass him EASILY through 2nd gear, and go into 3rd. As I was going by him in 2nd his girl looked over, and I smiled. When he looked over I gave him a BIG THUMBS DOWN, and a look of disgust. 3rd gear only put that much more distance on him, and eventually I made my turn.

Sometimes you just want to carry a dead ferret in your trunk, so you can whip it out and beat someone with it.

Just a wild ass guess, but he was probably trying to give you the BOV salute. I have had people do that to me before. A few weeks ago, a wrx pulled up alongside me and gave me the BOV salute, and then I gave one right back at him lol. Then of course he proceeded to turn off down a side street next chance he got

lol as I speak there is a sunfire sitting across the street at a custard place with neons all over, dual exhaust conversion, vinyl stickers all up and down, giant wing, and fake hood scoops.

there is so much crap like this around the milwaukee area it's not even funny.

It's times like these that make me want to install a pop-up James-Bond style bb gun on my car.
