I'm positive you will beat a cbr600. I'm at 485 rwhp and raced a zx6-R. From 60 we were even till 115. After 115 I walk him pretty bad.

It'll take a lot more than putting the top up to beat a 1000cc Ninja. Anyone who rides knows this.

Bikes are fast, but the main advantage of the bike is from a dig where the weight advantage will really show especially if the rider can keep the front wheel on the ground. Would you be able to launch your s2k from a dig at full boost and slicks? Top speed is not bikes strength unless its a busa or zx14 (they slow down a lot after 120ish probably because of the aero).

^^^ You must have never ridden a 10r or you wouldn't say that. It pulls nearly as hard at 120 as it does at 60. I think the rider left his foot on his rear brake.

Like I said, you'd have to ride to know where the rider is coming from. 1000cc Crotch rockets do not slow down @ 120mph, if anything at all thats when the fun begins. Discussing this with a non-rider is pretty pointless. End.

I ride, but I have not ridden a 10r, have two 6r myself and a honda 1000cc. Closest thing I have ridden to a 10r is the z1000.

Have also ridden the zx14.

Unfortunately I don't go 120mph that often

I agree with other posters; owning a bike myself, that guy either doesn't know what he is doing, or (per the OP's comment) chose to be slow.
