This morning was one of those rare days where everything was just perfect. The sun was out, the sky was clear, the roads dry and I pulled between two M3s that were setting up to race.
The white M3 had big wheels and tires with an aftermarket exhaust. The solo driver wasn't very big.
The blue M3 was tricked out with all kinds of stuff. He said it was pushing 7 lbs boost. I figured he needed boost to haul around the 300 pound passenger in the front seat and the little guy in the back.
I agreed to do the horn honk for them and then thought what the hell, I'll just scoot down to the finish line and see who gets there first.
Three horn honks and we were off. They both pulled me slightly off the line. I quickly passed the white one in second gear and caught the blue one before shifting to third. In third gear I pulled 4 or 5 car lengths on the blue one and shut down about 95.
At the next light they were all talking at once. They were astounded that the Honda was quicker than they were. It's just a little Honda with a Vortech.......

430 rwhp????? Damn man... how the heck did you manage that? I thought the Vortech was good for about 300 rwhp?
I'm currently running 1.22 BAR or about 17.6 lbs boost. The last dyno at 13.4 lbs boost it was putting out 447 rwhp. On this engine, 4.2 lbs boost is worth 72 hp so it should be pushing 520hp. It's a real hoot to drive.
