Default UR Turbo S2000 vs. e46 m3

A freind of mine is picking up his new M3 tomorrow, and an Ultimate Racing turbo is going in next week. I 'm pretty sure I'll be able to spank him in a straight line, but how do you think the cars will compare around a road course?

Let us know how that turbo is, and any dyno sheets, if possible.

I think you'll beat him with ease on a road course, so long as your cars suspension and especially your brakes are upgraded relative to your engine.

If u got around 260-270rwhp u will beat the M3 since they put around 275-285rwhp and weight 3450lbs. Also if u can trap higher than 107-108 u will 100% beat a E46 M3. I my self did beat two M3 E46 with my LS1 and both races ended at the end of 3rd gear with me 1 to 1 1/2 car ahead and pulling. by the way i trap 109-110 in the summer heat, didnt try in the cold weather yet.

I dont know... I witnessed my friends E46 M3 laying the smack down on a Supercharged S2000.

I guess if the S2000 is properly tuned, he should beat the m3 in the 1/4. But when it comes to autocross/road course? Turbo lag and timing of boost is just more factors you gotta play with. There is a reason why most cars who participate in such events are N/A. The pros are the ones you see who use FI, and they are seriously TUNED.

Good luck.

IMO I think N/A cars are better for road course races. It is more controllable and predictable than a turbo car. The problem with turbo cars is that they hit suddenly and u can

I spanked a couple of E46 M3's in my S2000 but was running 10-12 psi when I did it. Given that a turbo S2000 will be considerably quicker than a supercharged S2000... you should win. I well driven M3 is still a 13 sec. car and I mean 13 flat.
