Good take on the interior difference between domestic, imports and european.

IMHO, there is no interior like european.

I think the dash alone in the M has more leather than my 01 SS Camaro ever did. I dont even want to begin comparing leather qualities between european and domestic, there is no comparison.

The leather in my car is the same you would find in a $1,500 office chair. The leather in the Chevy is the same you would find in a $129.00 dollar blowout special Home Depot chair.

If you disagree, go feel the leather in the M series BMW. Not those crappy 3 series Bimmers

IMHO the leather in the Benz is no better than the lower line BMW. Its too textured and too harsh. The S4 and the M's leather is very soft and smooth. My friends S500's leather is similar to that of the C230. Its just too harsh and textured for me to enjoy the leather of the seat.

As far as ergonomics goes... when it comes to convience, you cant beat Honda, everything is right there in easy comfortable reach. This is true for the S4 and the M. One thing that pissed me off about the Mustang is the location of the shifter, its all the way up near the center of the dash

At least for Chevy the shifter is in the proper location... away from the dash

that new civic si spot....all i can say is "interesting". if they meant to be "inventive", they got that, but i won't be giving them any bonus points for it.
