Dont be too cocky on the highway, anything can happen, lol. BTW, the Supra has 409whp. Camera car is a 996T.

That Video was strange! I watched it like five times in a row. Whats up with that supra! Seemed a little slow. What type of car was the camara car. The silver V.W. was nice. That a Rabbit? You can see the Rabbit in the side rear view mirror. The Supra pulls five cars ahead then bam the Rabbit takes off and catches the Supra in no time. Did the Supra ease off the throttle. I have no doubt a V.W. can be made fast. I've seen old bugs made into monsters. It just seems strange. Anyway awesome vid. I am a big fan of V.W.'s Use to have one and they always hold a special place in my heart!

The Supra has 409whp and the camera car is a Porshce 996 turbo. The bike is a super six I believe. I don't think the Supra was slow, if it was next to a normal street car it would lightning fast. The Supra was losing ground and the Rabbit was closing in. They must of ran into traffic, slowing them both down. It's funny how you see the VW in the rear view like you mentioned, normally no one would give it any attention. But it comes back in a big way at the end.

Nice vid, but why the thread title?

I could post vids of civics beating vipers, pinto's beating WS-6's, CRXs beating ferraris...i don't understand the thread topic.

For all you haters out there? Maybe I just don't understand your history/reputation on this board.

Nice Vid none-the-less.

The video was very strange indeed. even if u tell me the supra wasnt that slow in the video there was still something very weird about the video. when you watch it a few times youll see that the 996 and the supra will just start slowliy pulling then the supra will gain a car length at the shift and then all of a sudden the rabbit will cut off the 996 and then all of a sudden stop pulling as it comes up side by side with the supra. then the supra will shut it down and the rabbit will keep going. i have no doubt at all that the rabbit in that video was fast because i have seen it before in another video. maybe that one should be put up instead. well just my .02 latez
