Default VR-4 Results!!!!!!

Well in a nutshell I got my ass kicked!

After penetrating the riceboy barrier Matt decided to set his sights on higher goals. Matt wanted to infiltrate the real street racers. The ones who actually have the parts their stickers are advertising. Rolling down Washington Blvd. I saw a black VR-4 (late-model, I think he said it was a '99) that I had seen previous times also. I knew he was a racer and would surely want to race me. I postitioned myself in traffic so that he would roll up on my right side....He did. We talked for a sec then he asked if I'd like to go, I said sure but not on washington...too many cops. He followed me and we pulled into the local Denny's. Talked for a bit and turns out there werer some races going on way out at an isolated industrial park. He asked if I wanted to go and I said sure. Pulling out of the parking lot I heard some blow-off valve loving going on so I knew he was modded. How much modded I did not know though. We get out to the spot and I am suprised to see quite a lot of people. Probably about 15 cars total. All modded and running fast. We stop and get out, talk to some of the kids (the S2000 was a star) let them sit in my car and push the starter button. But business was about to pick up. I asked him if we could do a 20mph punch since I knew from a roll I had a chance. He agreed and we went to line up. Well we get going 20 and then bam, the race is on. He IMMEDIATELY pulls a car on me and continues to gain till around 80. By the time I finally start to pull on him he had me by atleast 3 cars. At 120 I am slowly starting to gain but we had to break cause we ran out of road. A seriously fast car I found out all he has was a racing clutch and blow-off valve. He said he was running at about 14psi, don't know what stock is. Granted I am not the best driver but he easily handed me my butt. To quote Randy Quaid, "I haven't seen a beating like that since someone stuck a banana down my pants and turned a monkey loose." Overall though it was an awesome night. I ran a supercharged Prelude from a roll and from a launch. Got him both times but he sure had a heck of a powerful car. Ran a turbo'd Intrega and also got him. Both had bad clutches though (well it's not like the S2k's is good though). The one thing I did get from this race though was the feeling that I need a supercharger to run with some of these boys. Like I said though, overall the night was awesome and I will definately be doing it again. We have videotape of every race so next time I see that kid I'm gonna try and find out if they posted it. There was a hilarious race between a riced out Ford Probe and a stock Chevy truck. I swear it took them a good 15 seconds just to reach where we were all parked....but that's another story.

*sorry I didn't put much humor into them but it's 3:30 in the morning and I had to wake up at 6 A.M. yesterday..ouch
