Hey all ,,just a great race i had getting on the highway ,heres this guy
getting behind me and blows the horn ,,bro theres cars in the lane where getting on to "I YELL"(top down),,now im mad cause he thinks hes a hot shot and puts his sun glasses on,,ohhhh your cool i YELL again.i get road rage sometimes,,anyways ,he sees the road open up and trys to rush around me,,,SURE HES GONNA DO THIS!!!7000 GRAND AND SOME RAILS LATER hes next to me in first trying to pass me ,second im ahead by a fender ,,really good feeling right now redlining 2nd,,into third ,chirped on his ass and pulled a full car length on him ,now im relining third and almost two cars on him ,,some traffic comes up he trys to draft me ,,aint happening and i switch lanes hard,he follows, back into the gas at almost 110 and hes right behind me up to 137 exact and hes next to me,,im like uh oh NEED JUICE RIGHT NOW ..more traffic and he slows down i whip off my exit and he gives me the finger when i look over at him.. SOOO NOW HE GETS THE FLASHERS AND i could say i won cause he never passed me ,,,vtec power is incredible if redlined hard ,,you too will take out a porsche carrera,,JUST NOT THE TURBO ONE

good kill...maybe it was auto? Or not as good driver.

 

stick or not this guy was beating his gears cause i seen the frustration on his face when he tried to pass me ,,then he got even more angry when he just couldnt beat me in second or third..it was one of the best races yet for me sooo close with both cars ,,im just confident that in a quarter ,,i would definetly hang ,,top end i think at 130 or 140 hes gonna pull ahead..?

The 911s are faster than ours cars but not by so much that you couldn't edge one out under the right circumstances. Good Kill!

I think its a low to mid 13 second car in the 1/4 mile.

It couldn't have been a boxster (or boxster S) to make up 2-3 car distance plus a jump. These cars would fade in the mirror.

I thought he was basically stock except for an intake. That time has always sounded too good to be true with no real mods to speak of. But if he's got the slip, guess I can't argue.

 

You can tell the 2001 911's apart from the previous models by the "turbo" headlights.

It's a believable race. I raced an auto 996 Carrera 2 from a stop and I beat it.
