Default On the way home from memphis

Well me and Nikki were on the way back from Joe's Crab Shack, after keeping the bar tender busy for a good hour or so (those long island ice tea's are the shit)...it had just started to sprinkle a lil bit so the roads were pretty slick...I just turned off the germantown road on to poplar ave...when I see about 4 sets of hids fast approching in my rear veiw...I slowed down to see the group that was racing to catch up to me...I thought I was in a drift convention when all the nissans came up beside me...A yellow 300zx twin turbo, and the rest were all modified 240's...We played around a bit...I never could get the 300zx to mess with me...not for lack of trying....So we finnally caught a light (keep in mind this is a 7 lane road) I was in the middle and I had two 240's on either side of me, one black one silver...reving like there's no tomorrow...I knew with my slick rears I wouldnt get any traction So when the light turned green I just eased on the gas, as they both spun out wildly...whenever it was safe for me to gas it I did so and passed the two up like there was no tomorrow...as soon as vtec hit in 1st gear I was already equal to them even though they both launched...by the end of 2nd gear I had over 3 cars on them both...There was no point in staying in it anymore seeing how there was no chance either of them gaining on me, but I still shifted into 3rd and put another 1 and 1/2 cars on the two before I shut it down...They both flew up beside me (No ricer fly by..I couldnt beleive it) and gave me a thumbs up...I returned the favor....I wish I could have gotten the yellow 300zx tt to play around...but no dice.

I once took off at a light slowly then punched it while it was raining and I can tell you from experience that my S almost went sideway, this was a straight away with my steering wheel locked at going straight ... I know if there was a car next to me then it wouldn't be a pretty sight but luckily there wasn't...

I was suprised I didnt spin in 1st...I did ease on the throttle...and when vtec hit I didnt break the tires loose...When I shifted into second I did get a little sideway's, but nothing too sever, and I never came close to either of them...It was easily corrected with a slight lift of the throttle and a bit of countersteer.

The road was fairly fresh pavement...and It had just started to sprinkle..Not a down pour...The road was so newly paved that there wasnt even any oil marks going down the center yet...Suprised myself how I was able to hold it togeather in 1st...2nd they broke loose slighlty...but nothing overly dramatic
