Well seems to me like the domestics wanna pick on me. haaha so i'm driving one day and a corvette takes the same turn i am and he floors it a lil and waits for me to catch up.. and we go from a maybe 40 roll in 2nd. by the time i was in 3rd he had already pulled like about 2-3 cars... no idea what kind of corvette
Yesturday morning while leaving my neighborhood I see a Cobra following me onto the main street. We pace each other a little in 1st and we go at it when i was at around 5000 rpms. He pulled around 2-3 cars by end of 3rd... damn domestics picking on me!

 

They were just warming up with a light snack.

 

no doubt, sorry to say but they were laughing their asses off at you! i am a big honda lover, but everytime i drive my buddies GTO, i HUNT imports....and laugh my ass off! i can help it! power is addictive!

 

Most of the times, small I4 engine is no match for a big V8 in acceleration. So don't feel bad!

Some people even mod the GTO's apparently. Who knew.

 

yeah, my roomies is gonna be quick shortly. either STS turbo, or cartek setup, NA with cam and heads, and stall. they can be mighty quick with parts. but normal ones, i havent been beaten yet. love racing them. almost my fav races.

I've hung out with a few of them at meets, but never ran any of them. How does the 04 and 05 compare? Can you beat the 05s as well?

 

Was it a C5? Had to be a modded coupe or a stock Z06 to pull you like that, 3 cars in 2nd gear alone right?
