So a friend and I are on our way home from an s2000 meet when I get a $208 speeding ticket. After getting back on the highway, like 15min later, I drive by a Scion TC. It looked stock and it had some kid in it. I wasn't even thinking about racing, because it was just a TC... But this guy looks over at us, stares us down with this mean ass glare, and gets on it. We kind of just started laughing, but then I think this kid thought his scion was faster than an s2000? Because he just looked at us and shook his head. So, ticket or not, I wasn't going to let a stock TC think he just beat an s2000. Therefor I get back up with him, and this time the outcome was a little different. Almost as bad as when I raced the civic a few days ago He tried to keep up but it wasn't happening. How ignorant can you be to think your stock scion can keep up with an s2k?

 

Maybe he just wanted to see how bad he would lose...

True, I do it all the time. But me and my friend agreed that this guy thought it was fast. He gave us one of those looks. Whenever I want to get slaughtered, I am always happy about it, and definitley give the guy props. This kid was pissed off.

 

Just stick w/the mentality that most people dig s2k's and just want to see the car move, in order for them to get that pleasure they have to provoke some time of race. i tend to do the same when i pull up next to a 996 turbo or any type of exotic, but w/out the mean ass glare

a good friend of mine got a TC in dec. and thinks it's fast lol... I told him to get the Si but he wouldn't listen. Now that i have my S2k he's all hell bent on trying to top me. He started pricing that trd supercharger that comes as an option it but i dont think that'll be enough. Should have listen to me and got that Si, want an idiot.

speaking of scions, my friends hyundai elantra beat the scion vip room (xb) lol what a race! any stock scion would be kinda boring for an S

 

LOL yeah tCs are slow. i have no idea what that guy was thinking. even the supercharged ones arent any faster than an rsx-s or 06 Si. turbo ones are... kinda quick, but the ones pushing 250 or more whp are having problems with their transmissions and other little gremlins.

 

i had a scion...brand new....but good ol'me i sold it and got a s2k...let me tell you...i love it when i make good decisions.
