after Import Revolution.. westhimier(sp?) was packed.. i was at a light next to a white wrx wagon.. they rev.. so i go off idle (can't afford another diff) they launch.. their ahead.. but i pull even and shut down..

next light.. i hear trash talking.. can't tell exactly what.. just that it wasn't.. 'hey nice car' the windows are up and tinted.. but i can see the driver looking at me and shaking his head.. hell no
light turns.. i roll out.. got them on reaction time.. they still got at least a car on the launch.. by the end of second they were already at my back bumper.. third started to pull hard.. and shut it down for traffic.. slowed down.. and take off..

I've raced my friend's wagon quite a few times, and I've won every single time, on the drag strip, on the freeway, on the street, every possibel scenario, well, except for rally racing. He wins there...

WRX wagons are significantly slower than the sedan. They are around 120kg heavier than the sedan.

Nice kill anyway You taught the ignorant fool an s2k lesson

Not quite right. Yes, the wagon weights more ... but it's only 20kg more:
- sedan = 1390kg
- wagon = 1410kg

Pretty insignificant when it comes down to it.

Saturday was crazy in Houston. When I ran Blake (which I lost every time) we had to keep shutting down at about 70 mph. That happened to also be the time that I was starting to creep up along side him. Kirk I hope we can run again this coming weekend. Wes and Mark lets not blow by cops again doing about 100 mph along side the beltway. I have know idea why he didn't chase us?? Well other than having to work on Saturday I had the most fun Saturday with everything going on in town. For those of you who know Prashant/Pimpdaddy his viper won the award for being involved in the most gay porn pictures of any car club in town. If you knew the S-K group you would know.

The real difference is about 80 lbs more for the WRX wagon.

0-60 and 1/4 times are virtually the same, with maybe a 1 tenth defecit to the wagon.

cornering/slalom/braking, etc are different because the track is slightly different, as the sedan has the wider front track and also, slightly diff. suspension.

The WRX is faster 0-60 mph, or they are very close.
the s2k is faster 1/4 mile by a 2-3 lengths.

What was perfect is that we all seemed to see him about the same time and all 8-9 cars slowed to match his speed as he exited the tollroad...it was quite moving. <tearing up>

Sho, sorry I didn't chase you that one time...I'm having some weird hesitation when in WOT...the car goes into the shop for a check-up tomorrow.
