Default ws6 vs s2k

on the way home yesterday i was at a stoplight and a ws6 trans am pulled up next to me. i looked at him and he looked back at me grinning. lol. so i knew he wanted to run. we go to about 20 mph and he hits it, and im right there with him. we went up to about 75 or so and we were dead even. I was suprised honestly. he gave me a thumbs up and we parted ways. I was glad to see my new diff held up. stock gear ratio.

my mods:
exhaust, test pipe, header, clutch/flywheel.

his mod:
he had an exhaust. idk about anything else.

A well driven WS-6 would probably put 3 or 4 carlengths (I'm being conservative) on you to 75. 108ish mph traps in the 1/4.

No BS here though. Anything happens on the street, amateur drivers, pretend car enthusiasts, etc. Plenty of S2000 owners running high 14s/low 15s at the track, Evos in the 14s, etc etc etc.

Looks like someone was running at Atco, NJ or Cecil County, MD in the winter. Those two tracks are great for the ego.

There were two generations of the WS6. An LT1 would be a decent race with an S2000. An LS1 WS6 would be sandbagging if the S2000 driver thought it was an even race from any kind of roll. The higher the speed, the harder the LS1 would pull.

However, "anything can happen on the street."

Good run.

i know this is an s2k forum but i ran a ws6 that had a 75 shot vs my b18b turbo hatch w/ 261 whp and walked him 3 car lengths...ws6's aren't all that great unless there is an exceptional driver in them...then only can they keep up, im not such a bad driver myself though

must have been an LT1, or an A4 LS1 with a comatose driver. LS1 is several orders of magnitude greater than the f20.
