Default WTF Happened!

Me and my friend went to down a big ass highway last night, Friend has a wrx and other one a type S..

Me and the wrx were racing from a roll of 40-45 and i am in 2nd and beat him all the way until 4th and he catches up while i'm in 4th.. and beats me like a car length!! I couldn't believe it myself... wtf!! He is stock and i have a JIC magic exhaust..

BTW i shifted it at 8900 - 9K... Could it be that i'm a bad driver or is it my car? its a 01

I'm guessing thi was an sti because no other wrx stock would stand a chance. Your right though that does sound wrong especially if you were ahead for so long. Maybe he isn't all stock?

Maybe it was a STi, and he left it in 4th. Or it was a WRX with a big laggy turbo.

Sounds like a broken S2000..

Especially at highway speeds you should have killed him.

In my old e36 325, I could beat a stock wrx over 80. You should have trashed it.

did you have your top up or down?

if down, I can easily see the WRX beating you at high speeds

ahhaha my ricer excuse would be that it was too wet to race with the S!! But yes my top was up and i had one passenger in the car about 140 pounds... Also i just reset my ECU b/c of my o2 simulator going out throwing a CEL

But to be safe i'm going to get my compression checked wenesday! Hope everything is fine..

BTW what is the compression suppose to be on each cyclinder?

also could be exhaust. Good dual exhausts usually gain you 0-3HP, bad ones can make you lose HP.
