ok so me and my buddy are crusing around, just got McDonalds when a G35 goes SCREAMING across the intersection. im waiting at a red light to turn the way he was headed so once it goes green i haul after him. its midnight and nobody's on the road and i catch him and match his pace at 40mph. i just wait on him to see if hes game and he doesnt seem as if he wants to play so just as im about to give up on it he floors it and i hear that infamous G35/350Z motor noise. i catch up to him and match his pace again and honk it off at 45, by the time i shift to 3rd i already have 4 cars on him and by the beginning of 4th hes 10+ cars back. he pulls up to me after i slow down to let him catch up and he says "lets go from a stop" so...

from a stop, i rev it up to 6.5k and honk it off, i let the clutch out a little too fast and spin sideways a little and bang off the rev limiter a few times ( forgot to disengage the nitrous for the launch), ease off slightly, and get back on it and scorch him. by the time i finished 2nd i was 10+ up again.

he pulls up to me and says "damn that thing is faaaast. ive beaten two S2000's before, whatve you got??" i smerk at my bud and yell back "im supercharged! " "he yells damn, well its fast as hell, i only have exhaust and intake."

i then remember I HAVE A CAMERA!! i yell to my friend "here, videotape videotape videotape!!" i pull it out the glove box and sneakily say to the guy "you want to go one more first gear?" he agrees but then sees the camera. he then says "man if youre going to videotape me at least give me a head start!!" i agree and point him on, he goes (were at about 10mph) and i wait for him to get 3 cars on me. my idiotic friend hits the button late so all that is shown is me once i already started (you can still see that the G is obviously ahead) 1st gear, i match his speed, 2nd gear i gain back what he got from the head start and 3rd gear i start the deadly pull. i asked him when he let off and he said "not until you braked" so when you see his headlights WAAAAY back...yea, he was still WOT.

i imagine my S2K would only be a car or two faster than his WITHOUT nitrous but you can obviously see the HUGE difference it makes. heres a link to the video

wuts up billy?! yea its obvious that G35 wasnt racing me since i barely pulled on him and it took me 2 gears of full redline...and you can hear the revs going up faster bc of the nitrous...but no, he wasnt racing. and you know that your integra is no faster than dimitri's stock em2 civic! o and by the way, yea im the pizza delivery boy its so funny bc i obviously have no money but im going turbo this week and running an AEM EMS. hopefully ill put down at least 375whp-400+whp no nitrous...but i guess you can make fun of my job

 

then i guess its great to have parents with money....

 

i pay for absolutely EVERYTHING. my parents let me live at their house for free...thats it. all of my money goes to my car. i dont need to explain myself to you. i pay $490 a month for my car and $207 for insurance. i bought the te-37's, the nitrous kit, and now the turbo kit. just bc im 19 doesnt mean i cant have a well paying job and be financially responsible. DrDre1443 (Andreas) Slow03EM2 (Dimitrios) or Morasso (Billy) can def vouch to all of that if its got you so uptight bc im not poor...

 

While I wouldn't call spending all that cash on a car financially responsible, don't let people start to hate. I believe that you can get it done by living rent free and spending all the money on the car.
