assume that you're out the door price for a new '03 will be $33K. your financed amount needs to be at or around $15K in order to have payments at $300/month for 60 months. i personally prefer the longest term (# of loan months) available, even if you CAN swing the larger, short-term payments. remember that the 36 month note is going to $5XX/month. i'm not talking about 72, 84 or 96 month loans... the S just isn't expensive enough. i prefer the extended period because you can get ahead of the payments and have a safety net should your financial condition change for the worse. make sure that the loan doesn't have any prepayment penalties. and be sure to figure in a pretty hefty chunk of change for insurance.

good luck.

I just turned 18 and the insurance for my S is 3000 a year. Of course I dont have insurance under my name lol, the car is enough already for me to pay so Its under my moms name (which is the same as mine) and life goes on. Good luck affording the S The payments are killing me already.

if lets say u got into a accident....the insurance company wont pay for the damage...because someone in the house hold is driving that car...not the person that insuranced right?..
