For what? A brand new '03 with all dealer fees, delivery, everything but tax?

Yea, I'd say that is a nice price for a non-snowbelt state. You might save another grand buying in Chicago, but then you'd spend most of that savings on shipping.

I'd agree with pfb, that's a pretty good price.

It depends. What are you buying?

Seriously, used? New 02, 03? Spoilers?

You could do worse, you could do slightly better.

This thread should get you started on your way:

Good luck!

Good price, especially for Arizona. There is ALWAYS a better deal to be had elsewhere but what's $1k when you are already spending $30+. Too find a deal $1k better than the offer you have now would require a dealership selling the car to you at a figure extremely close to invoice. You don't find these dealerships too often. Take the car at that price, you wont regret it.

Its an 03. There are several to choose from. I haven't driven it yet. I have owned hondas in the past though. I have an 02 Lexus is300 5speed. It is a nice car but I should have gotten the S to begin with. I'll probably take a little hit on the trade. If the S2k is half as fun to drive as the 99 prelude I had, then I will probably get it.

Thanks for all of the input.

That's interesting... I've been thinking about trading my S2 for an IS300. What is it about the IS that you prefer the S2? Thanks.

The only thing I like about the IS300 over the S is the torque, but the S is my favorite car, so i can't say anything good about the IS . My friend has an IS that's why I say the S is better.
