hardtop first, you never know when they might be out of production.

If I wanted an S with a fixed roof, I would have bought an RX-8 instead. I'd get the wheels and enjoy the S as a convertible.

Getting a hardtop doesn't mean you no longer have a convertible.

I have an 05 S, and an 08 CR. I hate the hardtop. It rattles like crazy and I don't like the looks. It is faster on the track to run a hardtop, but I hate it so much, I just suck up the time difference and go naked.

i'd say rims first, a car with rims looks good, a hardtop with rims looks great. an s2000 with stock rims is alright and a hardtop is still just alright. just depends what you're going for rims is both style and some cases lighter weight while a hardtop is style and noise reduction/security. do them both.

well, coilovers are going on absolutely first. i cant stand 4x4 status. id like to go hardtop first, but i dont know if ill be able to stomach being lowered on stock AP1 5 spokes. i may throw up in my mouth a little bit everytime i walk to my car.

Is hardtopguy still the way to go? what about if i go with a non OEM hardtop, who sells a full setup with weather stripping and all the nuts and bolts?

thanks guys

Wheels are easy to come by. HTs not so much. Get a HT and thank me later.
