Default 0-60 and 1/4 times that are relative.....

I've recently purchased an Apexi rev/speed meter, and have some interesting results. I hung .98 on the lateral g's so that i'm more than happy with! What i'm curious about is my to 60(62) time and my 1/4 time. my 0-100km time was 6.2 while my 0-400m was 13.85. Does this sound about right??? I've installed an injen intake and hks exhaust to help me out, but i also installed 18'' GT1s that no dought slow me down. Any input would be appreciated. Thnx

Brandon

I don't know, maybe that meter isn't doing it right.

The only way to get a truely accurate 1/4 reading is at the 1/4 mile track.

since u got the rsm...
what sort of 80-120kmh times are u getting?

dropping down to 2nd gear in 70kmh...and then shifting from 2nd to 3rd i get 3.0Xs consistently...

just pulling in 3rd the whole was i get 3.5Xs consistently

Russ, does the Vbox account for rollout and an average speed over the last few feet? If not, it won't replicate a true dragstrip accurately.

It's not designed to replicate a dragstrip verbatim, since the unit's primary purpose is to measure elapsed time, not speed over the last 60 or so feet. Here's what it DOES measure:

Mind you BrandonS' time of 6.2 is 0-62 not 0-60.

There is a significant difference in how long those extra 2 mph take.
