Default 0-60 time

Hi all, I just joined this forum. I am looking to buy a 2001 S2000 in the spring time. Can somebody give me an accurate 0-60, and 1/4 mile time for this car....I've seen times in magazines ranging from 5.3-6.4 for the 0-60.

Also, can you please post some pics of your ride with a body kit. I love the fact that you only need to buy a front lip spoiler to make the car look amazing without having to replace the whole bumper.

Sorry for all the questions, but here's the last one. The car i'm getting will come with 16" rims. How does the car look with 17's? Anyone got any pics?? And what are good lowering setups?

Hope someone has the time to answer these questions....

lates!

It varies by how good the driver is. Much more than with other cars.

here are some pics of my 18" rims. my apologies for not having 17" to show off.

when it comes to lowering, i haven't done mine yet, but i plan to take it down an inch with some Buddy Club coilovers.

and this car looks amazing without any body work. doing some can take it off the charts. and welcome to the world of the living. IMHO you'll never own a better car.

let's say i didn't know what brake proportioning was so you can explain it for everyone else.

and there actually a GB going on those brakes you see atm. sherwin (docofmind) at brake zone is the man who makes them, and they're beautiful. 13" slotted, drilled, and cadmium plated with 6 piston forged wilwoods and braided brake lines. i also had to use 3mm spacers and had the red powdercoat done locally (and it looks like it's the same guy that sherwin is going to start using).

I was curious about the 0-60 time too.. they range from mid 5's to low 6's!

there was site which claimed mid 7's.

That would be a dumb crappy aussie driver. I have easily gotten below 5.4 many times, with a best of 5.0 (after a few mods) I can pull the 1/4 in mid 13's all day, and with great conditions, low 13's
