Hello Everyone,

So here is an update...I found a 2001 silverstone with red interior with 32k miles, but upon bringing it for an inspection it was found that the car was in an accident. The inspection found that the front bumper and hood was replaced and the whole car has been repainted. All of this was done relatively professionaly but the shop could tell. Please keep in mind all mechanical aspect of the car is good and the shop gave it a good rating but found it suspicious that the car has been repainted. I was originally offered 20,430 for it but after these findings it has been reduced to 20k and him paying me back for the inspection.

So what do you guys think? Am I better off buying a newer one with a healthy inspection? I just want to get your feedback on this.

If its just surface repair (paint, fenders, hood etc) then i would say its ok. As long as the frame was never damaged. Any frame repairs/straightening is what you should stay away from
