'01 vs. '02 Wheels... Are they different?
Warning... Potential stupid question coming...
Up until an hour or so ago, I thought the '00-'03 used the same wheels, but I just went to a web site and saw the '00-'01 wheels where different than the '02-03.
So, here is my question... Can I buy some OEM wheels and tires from a '02 and use them on my '01?
Thanks,
-Dave

No difference.
Wheels from an '02 or '03 will work just fine for autocrossing an '00 or '01 (and vice versa), and meet the requirements for stock class.
Although the truth may be hard to get from an authorized source, it is believed that Honda made the '02 & '03 wheels a slightly different color to differentiate them. Many '00-'01 owners were complaining about their wheels pitting prematurely. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but you can do a search and read the debate.
I bought a set of '01 rims for my snow tires and you can see the pitting that they were complaining about. My '03 rims appear to have an amber tint to them. It's not easily noticeable but if you put them next to each other (or mount them on the same side of a car) the difference is obvious.
The pitting I have on my "snow tires" is on the back side, where the wheels don't get cleaned regularly. The front faces are fine.

Close guys, but not quite right on the colors.
Because I have a MY00, and have the original rims with the Gold-ish clearcoat on the inserts. The first 2 model years had this Gold clearcoat. After the body shop recently replaced my drivers rear after an accident, I saw the new rim had a Blue-ish clearcoat. Why???? Because they gave me a rim from a MY02-03!!!
(idiots - the shop I meant, not you guys)
I confirmed this when I got home and looked at my roomates MY03.......blue-ish clearcoat.
So for now (until they order the correct rim) I have 3 Gold rims and one Blue one. Just a sample of the things they F-ed up!!!
Enjoy,
Hockey
