Gee, maybe those are some reasons that a sense of humor can go beyond the bounds of good taste and respect for others.
Lemme see if I can follow through with your logic here. Even though this thread was originally about how I wasn't fond of this color and how it made me feel and now you've dragged all Canadians and Firemen into this, I'll digress.
So you've travelled throughout Canada and now because of me and this thread, Canadians are no longer friendly or open-minded folks.
You have neighbors and friends who are volunteer firemen and now because of me and this thread, they are no longer good people.
You know somebody who knows somebody who's gay. I never slammed dunked the gay community so what's this got to do with anything? BTW (since you brought it up) I grew up with a fellow who was always my friend and visa versa. He died of AIDS. I hated what his lifestyle did to him. It killed him. But then what's this got to do with any of this?
I think we all know somebody who lost their lives on that horrible day so what's that got to do with this? Again BTW (since you brought it up) I sent my own personal earnings down to New York FD as my gesture of good will and support but again, what's this got to do with a thread about car color and my feelings about it?
Logically, you should have negative feelings about me NOT Canadians and firemen. Are you a logical person? I'm not going to continue the pissing match with you because you have your "blow out of proportion" mode turned ON. I've already gotten my 2 bits worth out of this as well as many, many others. I don't hate gay people I just expressed my opinion of a car color in my own way.
And Snoopy, my pleasure!

At Code3Smith's request, I am going to close this thread (If I can figure out how to do it). But out of respect for pa S2K, I will allow him the opportunity to respond to my last post before doing so.
Oh, and Skitzo, remember what you suggested Friday nite. DON'T DO IT! (Unless you want some of this.)

XVIPER...I couldn't agree more. Let it drop. I think the group is losing the intended humour in all of this....and well...thats too bad

WOW! Out of town for a day and look what happens!

So here's how I feel about this thread. . .

I think it's great to have discussion. XVIPER simply did what WE ALL DO! He posted his "opinions" on the new Suzuka Blue! He was'nt fond of it and used some humor to accentuate his view! I think that's GREAT! Oh, oh. . .wait a minute! Someone got offended! So, now things have really shaken up here. Folks have taken information and turned it around. . .even getting the events of September 11th in here! What's up with that!?! Silly stuff!

xviper makes an excellent point about everything here on the board. . .he has posted some things in the past and folks have given him hell! Folks, if you can't handle some "opinions" on the internet. . .watch out!

For those who sent kind words of support ...... Thanks! For those who were offended ....... it was regrettable. I don't believe I need to apologize as there was no maliscious intent. You took it that way.

As promised, I am going to try to close this thread now. If unsuccessful I hereby request the moderators (Mindcore?) to bring closure. I think I have met the forum requirements for doing this. I have given warning and adequate reasons for doing so. Additionally, I have given my worthy forum member adequate time to respond with a rebuttal to my last post. I know he has been around since he has posted in other threads today. He has chosen not to or he has put me on his "ignore" list in which case he'll never see this anyway. I have not and will never put anyone on my ignore list as even an opposing or negative viewpoint is of value and I would look at it with keen interest.
