Default 03 or 04 s2k?

Hi,

If this has been asked previously, I am sure someone will direct me to the correct url.

I am familiar with the 02/03 s2k and the differences offered above the 00. I have not, however, driven an 04. Do the members here have a preference?

I currently am an NSX owner, my second, and would like to move to an s2k.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

if I may...

actually there has been so much discussion about the +'s & minus's of MY00-03 & MY04+ that even if the search function doesn't work just scrolling backwards in this forum will find you numerous dicussions quickly...

00-03 aka AP1
04+ aka AP2

is there a way to trim the top off an NSX and make it a vert?

A place called Newport Conversions has been chopping off the tops of every car imaginable... here is a link to one for an NSX.

Drive them both, and see which one strikes you as more fun to drive.

I've had an '01 and now an '04, and I prefer the improvements, in all areas.

I've driven the 00 a great deal (I think it is the same as the 01)... don't like it very much at all... noisy, vibrates a lot, not much torque.... I much prefer my NSX... Now, last week I drove an 03 and found it to be much more fun, less noise, no noticeable vibration, 6 spd very smooth... but you're right, I simply need to drive an 04 and see...

That '00 you drove was probably just in bad shape.

But, based on what you're saying... the 04+ is for you.
