What is the consensus of the board regarding the "improvements" done to the O4-05 S2000? I'm in the market for one and currently looking at 03 and 04... i know they stroked the engine to 2.2L and did some visual / aesthetic stuff.... any reasons to definitely go with an 04? The visual stuff to me is really too minor to sway my decision, my main thing is performance and the engine. It seems to me that they took the edge off to make it more appealing to the masses.
Any input would be welcome.

You guys are so mean to the newbie. The search function of this site does not work very well, that why he was asking for helps.

Pre 04 owners like their S more than post 04 mainly for the 9K RPM.
I bought MY04 for daily commute, I like these improvements: more lowend torque so that it is easier for day to day driving, and the 17" wheels and tires.
You will be happy with either one.
