Default '04->'03 cruise control buttons

Anyone have any idea on how I can get the 3-button cruise control of MY04 to work on a 2-button '03 steering wheel if I were to change it? The extra button just presses both up and down simultaneously for you, I think, so I'm hoping there isn't too much extra wiring involved in getting in the 3rd button. I think that would be much more convenient.

Anybody have any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks!

There's a lot easier way of going about this (and cheaper)

There's a piece of plastic in between the 2 buttons that prevents me from pressing the 2 buttons at once easily with just my thumb.

That website's not working, I'll try it again later. Thanks.

It is nice to have that extra button. We have that on our '02 CR-V. However, after considering the number of times I actually use the cruise control, I don't think it's worth the cost and effort for me.

Just touch the clutch pedal with your left foot. Does the same thing!

I just clicked on it and it works fine, if you can't get it to work, PM modifry and ask him about his cruise control mod.

Or you can turn off the cruise button on the left side, one touch. I just press both buttons on the wheel at the same time.
