Default 04 headrest speakers install PLEASE HELP

I brought my new car in to the dealership to have the headrest speakers in stalled just in time for a road trip on Friday.

I already have a new amp, components, and headunit.

The dealer says the speakers did not ship with instructions and that they can't get instructions for another 15 days online from Honda.

They also are unwilling to move ahead without the instructions from Honda.

Has anyone seen these installed and working yet? Can I just have this done at an install shop?

Hello, I installed these last week. If an audio shop is installing everything for you they should be able to handle it. The only issue might come up how to open up the seatback to mount the unit and run the wires. The wire loom for the deck won't be used, the wires will run direct to the amp.

I am about to receive delivery of my 04 and the pickup date has been set back because of the same reason. They are waiting to get the directions from Honda to install the speakers. At this point they said they may ask me if I would just pick up the car and come back later to get the speakers installed. I am a bit wary of this just cause I do not want to have to bring the car back so soon and 2nd I have a feeling once I get hold of the car Im not gonna wanna give it up for anything. I can give you an update on how long it takes them to get the directions if it would be of any help. A soon to be enthralled s2k owner.

i know this is slightly off topic, but i've seen pics of the headrest speakers on honda's site, and by the look of it, the speaker units protude about an inch behind the seats. what this means is that if you are tall, you will have to sacrifice about an inch of recline and/or leg room, so if you are over 6' tall, you might want to think twice before you get this option.

As far as I could see on pictures, these haeadrest speakers have two speakers per unit. Can somebody confirm this?
Are these two speakers for the stereo effect, or are they for different frequency band (mid-hi / hi)?
