Yeah, the cutoff is razor sharp, and the cutoff point is purpleish blue. I don't think they are self leveling though.

cool, so it's still the same lens from the 03 w/the same optical properties? still cover the freeway from center divider to far right freeway wall with the same intensity all the way through?

I searched on bulbs and found some answers, but may I ask again? (They were all written by Brits).

I have ordered some PIAA Extreme Force bulbs (H1) for hi-beams. There are also Polarg "purples" advertised.

Anyone care to offer an opinion on best match to the S2K's HID's?

I've noticed it looked a little bit more greenish when you first turn it on compared to the previous generation.

I heard a rumor that the '04 lights were lights were not as bright. I've also heard many say theat the s2000 HID's were some of the brightest HID's on the market for any stock car. Maybe they were so bright that they toned them down a little for 04? Anyone have al ight meter?

err...I don't think you know what "cutoff" means. cut off is the "end" of the light stream.
