Default 04 Mugen Exhaust Blueing?

I am interested in the 04 Mugen exhaust but was wondering if the tips blue over time? I assume they would, but is there anyway to prevent this? Just don't think the blue tips would fit on Silverstone very well.

I know that the mufflers are Ti on the 04 Mugen exhaust, I assume the tips are as well.

I don't know enough about the 04 to say whether it is or not, that being said, when they get hot, they will turn blue, nothing you can do about it.

On the otherhand, my exhaust is blue, and I like it alot. Personal choice though

Stainless steel also turns blue/purple under heat.

Since when? The Mugen is stainless and will not turn blue like the titanium systems.

I'm pretty sure the Mugen uses titanium muffler cans, with stainless pipes and resonator.

Only the very tips of my Mugen exhaust has turned blue/purple.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is a far cry from titanium. Stainless and even mild steel will look like that after cutting heat.

Titanium:

#1 those Amuse exhausts are BURNT with a torch to turn that blue. This is much hotter then any exhaust tip will get.

#2 Bulletproof lists the pre-04 as a Ti/Stainless mix and this drawing claims it is textured Ti. I know that the 04 and up are Ti.

Thanks for the pics Slows2K, I appreciate it.
