Anybody else have the raised aluminum letters on the '04-'05 spark plug cover starting to corrode? Mine are covered with white pock-marks; looks like an old aluminum storm door.

The letters look like they were clear coated, does anyone know if this is true?

My car is a garage queen-not driven in the rain, so I am at a loss to explain why the cover looks like it 10 years old after 15 months.

have you cleaned your engine bay before? if so, then what did you use? have you tried cleaning it off? any pics? worst comes to worse, you may go to the dealer and see if your warranty would cover it. good luck.
