The author of this thread typed the following: "The Boxster has the best lines of any car out there."

Anyone who is going to claim that about any car needs/wants/covets/breathes that car.

And xviper did an excellent job in getting at the truth. The dude wants the Boxster S. He's done the S2000 thing. He wants more low-end juicy fruit. I think it's great. I wish I could love a car so much.

But let me just say that I got eyes, too, and the only lines I see on a Boxster is the outline of a toad's ass.

Full warranty vs no warranty
Classic vs trend
Non-rice vs rice
My car is better then yours because its a classic design
My car is better then yours because it has a zillion RPM redline
My car is better then yours because its 20K less
My car is better then yours because yours looks like a toad's ass
My car is better then yours because your car looks like every other Honda/Japanese car
My car is better then yours because its more reliable

list goes on and on...

[The Boxster just looks like a feminine car.]
[S2000 looks like a 2 door lowered Civic with afermarket parts.]
[The Boxster just looks like a toad's ass.]
[S2000 is just another high strung Japanese ricer.]
[Boxster is a lower end 911.]
[S2000 is just another Miata with more HP]

yadah yadah yadah.... to each his/her own.

I believe the '04 S2000 and '00 Boxster S are still similar in performance?

What it probably really comes down to is what I like?

When I owned my '01 S2000 I loved it.

[Do you ask for opinions before you decide to take a piss?]

Calpilot7.... my bad. Your absolutely correct in your thoughtfulness on the entire situation. I have no clue about the S2000 even though I use to own one.

I always seem to forget the average age on this board. How dumb of me ;-)

Lock the thread because I wanted to hear insight from other members of the board who perhaps have own both vehicles?

Your input/post have always been useful to this board? Gimme a break...
