Default '05 Headlights Misaligned?

My S2000's headlights are not aligned... I took it to a local Honda dealership a week or two ago to get it fixed. Apparently there was some miscommunication. After waiting half an hour, the guy calls me in and says "they're right on the money." I thought that meant he had fixed the problem. But then a few days later I was driving at night and, surprise, they're still misaligned.

I was told by someone on here that it's a factory recall on the S2000. I mentioned it to the guy at the shop, but he told me that there was no factory recall.

I wasn't charged, but I'm just wondering if there's something I should know about this problem. Any positive input is appreciated.

Factory lights are suppose to be misalignted...meaning one beam is higher then the other. That is to prevent you from blinding on comming traffic. Left beam lower right?

I believe the headlights were misaligned/staggered so that it doesn't blind out the driver in the car directly in front of you.

But then, don't our cars sit relatively low compared to a lot of cars? I just feel that I'm always blinded by other cars behind me, even some sedans, but mostly SUVs.

Then why do I get high-beam flashed all the time from oncoming cars

hehe true

I guess people are mad when it looks like you are constantly flashing the high beams, even though it was really because the car was bouncing up and down on the roads? no clue
