$26K OTD ? NO WAY. $2K TAX + $400 dealer fee + $100 tag = $23,500 for New 05 ? They may be discounting them but not that much.

I think close to 30k OTD would be the cheapest anyone has gotten them for. I'd be interested to know as well though.

I think last winter some people got some left over 04's for like 27k before tax, tag, etc.

Might want to wait a few more months if you need a really killer deal.

I'll buy as many as I can get for $26k out the door!

I would be surprised if you could get out the door for < $30k unless you live in DE, OR, MT or NH.

the invoice price of 05 brand new S2000 is about $30,334.00, included destination fee.

on top of the invoice price, you need to add about 10% of sales tax and registration fee. You are more looking at around $33,368 OTD.

But all the dealership are waiting for the 06 models to come. They might willing to cut you a lower price than that.

Hahaha I did the same thing. I traded in my 05 rsx type S for an 05 S2000 after having the RSX for only 2 months. Honda dealers in texas is a pain in the ass when it comes to negotiating. I got my 05 S2000 for $31,699 plus ttl. Hell if you can get it for $26,000 it pretty damn good deal.

The best I find is $26,930 for an 05 Sebring with red/black with 142 miles on it that has been sitting on the dealer' lot since Jan 05. Dealer is in Utah.

Here in CO, the best is 30,094.
