Default 05 s2000 what would u pay?

Ok, I have been lurking the forums and shopping for an s2000 for quite some time. I can get an 05 with 5 miles on the odo. I have been back and forth with several dealers and the best quote I could get was $29,500. I know some may say you can get one for $27,400 to $28,900, but I have yet to see that. Does $29500 sound reasonable given it is an 05? That is below dealer invoice. Thanks for the input.

Thats the price i paid back in July. Like you mentioned, there are people talking about how they were able to get an S for $27-28k before tax and DMV fees. At this point, i would just wait for the 06 because you're going to take a depreciation hit.
The s2k is going into its 7th year of production and is starting to get old. Under invoice is very easy to obtain. I would get an 06 unless the stealership is offering $2k off invoice like what some owners are mentioning (although I would just wait for 06 because of stability control and traction control).

29,333 was the subsidized price honda was using for their 299 lease deal.

I paid $29,800 for my '05 back in May......so yeah, I'd say $29,500 is a pretty good price!

I paid 32,700 for mine brand new on the show room floor for the 01 model. They were not barganing at all because each dealership was only going to get like 8 each. I was very lucky to walk in at the right time back then. Other people that I had talked to were put on a waiting list for a year to get one. I just wanted it so it didnt matter how much I paid for it. Its like if you have to ask the price, you cant afford it. LOL. If you like it like I love mine, it was worth every penny.

As the 06 are almost here it is a good deal but not the best. I paid that amount of money for my 05 about a month ago BECAUSE I WANT IT WHITE !!!!

Make sure you love the car, color is important or options or what ever you are into it.
