I was looking that the specs of the 06 and it said only 237 hp instead of 240...I was wondering which one is faster in the quarter mile..

Well with that kind of horsepower deficit.....hands down the 05 WILL be quicker!!!!

 

The one with the better driver.

 

It's the same, it's just the new way they rate the engines.

The '05 has 3 more horsepower, so that equates to about 1.5 seconds faster for the quarter mile. Remember that for every horsepower there is a 0.50 second faster time difference. I don't want to get into all the math and physics involved, but trust me on this one.


Go with the '06; it's newer and it costs the same as the '05, and think before you post. What kind of reponses did you think you would get?

I thought 06 uses a drive-by-wire so if it does slow down a throttle response, I say get '05.

 

yeah, hmmm let's see, the one with the top down should be slower!
