That is just absolutely unbelievable mileage for an 06, and even more so for a car this small. That's like truck driver miles, but in a loud cramped up roadster. Definitely the most miles in any 06, and one of the highest mileage S2KS as well. Imagine if he kept using it. He'd be at 300k by 2011.

I'd imagine he didn't replace the tires he used with OEM. Imagine the cost and aggravation. Probably el cheapos, and just pure highway driving hours each day.

I'm stunned!!!

I put 30k on in my first year of ownership and I thought that was a ton. I Just loved driving it and took it on so many trips...in addition to having a girlfriend that lived far and didnt drive. Miles are much lower now though...over the past 6months I only put on 5k and I daily drive her all year round.

$17,112 / 3.5 years = $4889 worth of gas per year = $407 worth of gas per month of ownership.

WOW!
I did this in my head. Seems your accurate.

Other than last year when premium was $3-$4+ dollars a gallon. And since it's probably more highway miles he/she should have gotten 25-27mpg's instead of 22.

If only he would have put APC stickers all over his car. Would have boosted the HP and MPGs.
