If you like the car, do not hesitate to pay a little more for it. I think it's worth it.

My car is not silver. But I would be willing to pay $500 more for silverstone color, if I had the opportunity. I don't care how much silver colored S2000's are out there. It is a great color. It highlights the amazing curves of the S like no other color can, even from far away.

Some people fall in love with red, some with yellow, and some with white

Do you want a Laguna Blue 06 with 23-24k on it? I can beat that price!

How do you figure?
apparently you have never tried to find a GPW S2k. Trust me when I was buying I could have picked up ANY other color for less than I paid for my GPW and my GPW was the best deal I could find, and I had to go from Ohio to Florida to get the dang thing.

I am not trying to start a one color is better than another argument, but I have been through the search. Unless things have changed since last October.........

Just a quick, crude example; I did a search on autotrader any distance, 06 only, less than 30k miles and rounded to the nearest $500.

I am sure statistically some of the high and low prices may be outliers and I don't really have time to crunch the #s and come up with a "true" range and or average, maybe someone who is bored can do this. I have to go and did not have time to sort laguna from Suzuka. Sure there a tons fo variables and it will likely change depending on years (06 is the only year for GPW with blk interior where 04/05 both had tan).

9 GPW came up and ranged from $23K to $26K
16 black came up and ranged from $20K to $26K
17 Rio came up and ranged from $18.5K to $27K
25 silverstone came up and ranged from $20K to $25k
36 NFR came up and ranged from $19.5K to $27K

IMO, the hot colors red ,yellow, blue are targets for a more specific group i.e- "If I'm buying a sports car, I want it to look like a sports car".But this same group is more apt to buy the common colors of black ,silver or white if their specific color is unavailable. If this is true, I would say that the common colors are an easier sell.

Last month I purchased a 2006 NFR with Honda cover with 7,000 miles for $19,700. It is mint. The guy said he never drove in the rain and garaged it constantly. I know him personally and believe him as this is the second car I have bought from him.

I love the car and have put 3,000 miles on it since I picked it up on 8/11.
