What's up with 2006's steering wheel these days? There must be like 3 other threads about the steering wheel alone.

Back to topic. I'd say get the 06. 2007 is coming out, unless the aftermarket is going to ignore the last two years of production run, there will be stuff available.

As for the 04, I'd say you buy that 1. from someone on this board, or 2. someone you know. Just make sure you know the vehicle's history. A properly broken-in S is a lot different than a not properly broken-in one. I drove my dealership's demo the other day. OMG, I have a 3-letter word to describe it: POS.

The choice is up to you. I would even recommend you to stay off the mods a bit. Enjoy the car in its original form. Once you start feeling getting tired of it, then you start modding it. It would give you more enjoyment out of the car.

As far as the mods go... all headers and test pipes fit the MY06 from the MY04-05. That's not a problem. I think invidia has something out already for the MY06 and T1R I think is in R&D for a new exhaust. AEM is working on an EMS for retuning and also doing R&D on the V2 intake. One member actually already has a prototype AEM V2 intake on his 06... forgot his name, but he's around.
