Too bad they are 17", I would not even pick up a set for cheap to use at the track...

it's not so much the spokes...the spoke are nice...but the damn center hub area looks like a flower

Many manufacturers "farm out" the production of their wheels and occasionally, they will offer a wheel designed and built by a wheel company (BBS with Subaru, etc.) but in the S2000 case, the wheels are designed by the Honda design staff. Most of the American Hondas have their wheels designed at the studio in Torrance, CA, but I believe that the S2000 wheels were done in the Japanese studio.

I would much rather have the 06' wheels than my dinky AP1 16 incher's. I do not think they are that bad, I will reserve judgment until I see them in the flesh.
