WENT TO IMPORT FACE OFF LAST WEEKEND WITH MY 01' AND RAN A 14.12 WITH JUST A CAT BACK AND ADVAN NEOVA'S, COULD HAVE RAN A 14.0 BUT MY REACTION TIME WAS REALLY BAD (.882)(FIRST TIME ON A DRAG STRIP). IT WAS ABOUT 100` OUT.

IS THIS A GOOD TIME FOR MY YEAR?

 

YEAH SURE!

I ran a 14.3 with just a K&N in southern Florida in August (i.e. it was hot and humid as can be).

 

Doesn't the clock start once you move off the line, not when the light goes green? So a faster reaction time wouldn't have improved your ET?

ya lol sorry at work i use upper case and get lazy.

 

Reaction time has nothing to do with E/T. You can have a .001 or a 1.0 r/t and your e/t will be identical.

Therefore, you ran a 14.12 and could have run another 14.12 if your reaction time was better.

 

i see. ya thats prob. the last time ill go on the track. to run a 14.1 i had to drop at like 7 grand. i thought for sure i was gonna break! ive never stuck that hard before! lol
